These brackets are a must if you have the rail, it makes it easier to attached the cover to the cab.

I basically had to install the cover twice. when I was selecting the cover for my 24 Tundra w/ bed rails there was a note about needing different brackets with a link that was broken. I reviewed the install instructions and thought they must have updated the kit. I should have been able to order one product with the correct brackets and not pay extra to make it work right.

I love that it does indeed hold the rails of my retractable tonneau cover firmly to the bed of the truck via factory rail system , no need to drill holes .

Bought my Tundra retractable cover and extra recomend buy tundras original rack clamps works better then clamps which is clamped to bed.
